Childbirth education
Why sign up with me? Childbirth education (CBE) classes help build your confidence in your body’s ability to give birth. We’ll discuss your fears and expectations about labor, talk about different stages of labor, labor positions, and what to expect postpartum. Other topics include pain relief options, information about medical procedures, and infant feeding. To round up the class we’ll visit the labor and delivery unit at Nardini.
Being a certified CBE provider I believe that CBE is the most important piece to get you ready for birth. I love sharing my knowledge with you so you can feel ready.
Cost: 200€ (includes a welcome bag, snacks and drinks)
Location: Nardini-Klinikum (St. Johannis) in Landstuhl.

HypnoBirthing
HypnoBirthing is a way to prepare for labor. HypnoBirthing techniques include relaxation, breathing, visualization, and meditation. If you are hoping for a natural, unmedicated birth, I highly recommend you prepare with HypnoBirthing because we birth best when we are relaxed and calm. You’ll learn to put yourself in a state of relaxation so labor pains become manageable and your cervix opens easily.
Mother to be Circle
A women's circle is a safe space created intentionally for women to gather. A mother to be circle is a space where expecting women can come together, where we celebrate your pregnancy and focus on you and your growing baby. The circle is created with the intention of making you feel seen, safe, heard, held and witnessed on your journey throughout pregnancy and in preparation for birth. Cost is 40€/woman and has to be payed in advance (credit card, bank transfer, paypal are accepted payment methods). Next circle TBD
Placenta Bowl pottery class
Placenta bowls can be used if you are planning a lotus birth or if you want to honor this amazing organ that helped grow your baby in the womb. I partner with a local pottery artist so you can craft your own placenta bowl. Working with this natural material grounds you and allows for bonding time with your unborn baby while you craft a one-of-a-kind keepsake. This class includes two separate dates about 3 weeks apart. During the first session you make the bowl and decorate it with help of Sandra. The bowl then needs to dry and burn in the pottery kiln before you can glaze it. After the final burn your ceramic is going to be an amazing keepsake and ready to be used for your placenta.
Healing Bath (Rebonding)
The healing or bonding bath recreates that moment when your newborn baby is placed on your chest, immediately after being born. Recreating and repeating this moment and allowing for skin to skin contact can be a healing and calming experience for baby and mother alike, especially after a difficult start in life. If you went through a difficult delivery experience, feeling like you lost control and could not get the bonding time with your newborn, this is for you! I will help you regain control, process your birth, bond with your baby.
Cost is 80€ and includes one virtual or in person meeting before the bath to get to know each other and start the reflection process.
